Norwich City Under-21s fell to defeat in the Premier League 2, losing at home to Leicester City.
Caleb Ansen was called into early action, with the Norwich goalkeeper making saves to deny Olabade Aluko and Logan Briggs.
The away side almost opened the scoring as a deflected effort nearly found the back of the net, but for a goal-line clearance from Tyler Williams.
Errol Mundle-Smith registered Norwich's best chances of the first half, forcing Stevie Bausor into a couple of saves.
Brandon Forbes could've opened the scoring as the Canaries countered through Dylan Jones. The Scotsman's shot was saved by Bausor.
And 10 minutes before half-time, Leicester went in front. Ansen made an attempt to play out from the back, but Louis Page got in front of his pass to deflect the ball into the back of the net.
In the second half, the away side doubled their lead through Henry Cartwright who found the bottom corner from range.
Leicester added a third through Josh King, who got on the end of a cross to squeeze the ball beyond Ansen.
Mundle-Smith pulled a goal back for Norwich with a fine finish from a tight angle, but Leicester responded immediately to restore their three-goal advantage through Tommy Neale.
And it was five shortly after. Aluko added another goal for the away side as they eased to victory.
The Under-21s are back in PL2 action next Friday, as they host Brighton & Hove Albion at the Avant Training Centre (KO 7pm).
