Dylan Jones scored twice as Norwich City Under-21s claimed their first win in Premier League 2 with a 2-1 victory over Everton at Carrow Road.
Jones was behind the first chance of the game, latching onto a ball forward before forcing George Pickford into a save.
And just after the 15-minute mark, he would put Norwich ahead. Ken Aboh laid the ball off to the striker and he found the bottom corner with a fine finish.
George Morgan looked to find an equaliser for Everton, firing his effort into the side-netting.
But just before half-time, the Toffees were level as Justin Clark fired in at Caleb Ansen's near post.
However, only two minutes into the second half, Norwich's lead was restored. A fine move saw Errol Mundle-Smith surge forward and find Aboh, whose ball across goal was finished off by Jones.
Aled Thomas had an effort from range, but Ansen was equal to the effort.
Moments later, Everton were awarded a penalty. Braiden Graham stepped up to take it, but he was denied from the spot by a fantastic save from Ansen.
A flurry of Norwich chances nearly made it three, as Alan Domeracki and Uriah Djedje came close with their respective efforts.
Despite a late rally from Everton, Norwich held on to claim their first three points of the 2025/26 season.
After the international break, Olly Lee's side begin their Under-21 Premier League Cup campaign at home to Colchester United.
