Norwich City Under-21s began 2026 with defeat, losing 3-2 against Liverpool in Premier League 2.

Liverpool created the game's early chances, as Will Wright came close with an effort just beyond the post.

But it would be Norwich who took the lead. Elliot Myles pressed high and finished well to open the scoring.

However, the away side found an equaliser five minutes later as Amara Nallo finished from close range.

The Canaries were back ahead four minutes into the second half, as Botan Ameen fired into the far corner in brilliant fashion.

Liverpool levelled with 10 minutes left, with Kieran Morrison scoring from inside the area after a corner.

In the fifth minute of stoppage time, Liverpool headed in a late winner.

The Under-21s are back in action next week, as they host Wolves on Friday, January 16 (7pm).
