Norwich City Under-21s were beaten by their Chelsea counterparts in the Premier League 2 on Friday afternoon.
Chelsea went in front early on, as Ishe Samuels-Smith scored a wonderful volley from outside the box which found its way to the bottom-right corner.
Errol Mundle-Smith looked to threaten as he burst into the box but couldn't find a yellow shirt with his low cross.
The away side went in search of a second goal, with Omari Kellyman hitting the woodwork on the volley before a great stop from Craven.
Chelsea would add a second as Donnell McNeilly headed in at the near post from a free-kick.
Late in the first half, Mundle-Smith had a shot that deflected onto the post and out for a corner but the Canaries were unable to find a goal before the break.
In the second half, Norwich looked for a route back into the game and came close as Dylan Jones fired wide.
Ellis Craven, who had made a number of good saves during the game, made his best yet as he got across to deny Samuels-Smith.
The Canaries found their goal through Mundle-Smith, after the young forward cut inside and bent one in with his left foot into the far corner.
Mundle-Smith could've found an equaliser for Norwich but put his effort straight at the 'keeper, eventually going off injured after a late challenge.
And in the dying embers, Chelsea added a third goal from the penalty spot as Shumaira Mheuka sent Craven the wrong way.
The Under-21s are back in PL2 action at the end of the month, as they host Arsenal at Carrow Road on Monday, March 31 (KO 7pm).
