Under-21s Report | Norwich City 2-0 PSV Eindhoven

Norwich City Under-21s claimed their second win in a week, as they were 2-0 victors over PSV Eindhoven in the Premier League International Cup at Carrow Road.

Oscar Schwartau was at the heart of the first opportunity, as his surging run created space for Elliot Myles to run into, before he saw his shot saved.

Jevon Simons saw his effort saved by Caleb Ansen as PSV Eindhoven registered their first opening.

In the PSV goal, Roy Steur got down well at his near post to save from Kaide Gordon's effort.

Just before half-time, the Dutch side came close as Jesper Uneken fired over Ansen's bar from the edge of the area.

Ken Aboh and Elliot Myles both forced chances in the second half for Norwich, with PSV scrambling to clear the danger.

PSV's Uneken then could've opened the scoring but he couldn't guide his side-footed effort on target.

But Norwich took the lead in brilliant fashion. Brandon Forbes' corner was headed back across goal by Brad Hills and met by Aboh, whose brilliant overhead kick beat Steur for the opener.

And Norwich made it two as Dan Ogwuru finished from close range after Lucien Mahovo found the striker with a pin-point cross.

The Under-21s return to action on Friday, December 13, as they welcome Middlesbrough to the Avant Training Centre (KO 7pm).
