Norwich City Under-21s began 2025 with a 1-1 draw away to Tottenham Hotspur in Premier League 2.
The Canaries took the lead through Brandon Forbes. The Scotsman jinked and weaved beyond the Tottenham defence and found the far corner with a fine finish.
Tottenham went in search of an equaliser and almost found an immediate leveller, but Caleb Ansen saved well with his feet.
Errol Mundle-Smith did well to get on the end of an AJ Bridge cross, but his strike was snuffed out by the home side.
The hosts were the more likely side to score going into half-time, with Dante Cassanova coming close before another effort required a big block from Charlie Wilson.
But Norwich would register the final chance of the half with Harmony Okwumo forcing a smart stop from the goalkeeper.
Three minutes into the second half, Tottenham were level. Tyrese Hall got away from his marker and headed beyond Ansen for the equaliser.
The Canaries almost regained their lead through Forbes. His curled effort looked to have been destined for the top corner, but for a hand from Luca Gunter.
Okwumo was continuing to threaten for City, latching onto a ball over the top but he wasn't able to find the target.
In a quiet second half, Theo Adelusi did well to clear a Tottenham effort off the line as the two sides shared the points.
The Under-21s return to action on Tuesday evening, hosting Hertha BSC in the Premier League International Cup at the Avant Training Centre (KO 7pm).
