Norwich City's Under-23s finally resume their Premier League 2 Division 2 campaign on Friday night when they take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground (7pm).
The game marks the resumption of the season for the Canaries, following an extended winter break after their trip to Stoke City on Monday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
It also starts a run of just three games in seven days for the development squad, as they look to continue where they left off before Christmas.
Currently, Alan Neilson's side are second in the league standings with 26 points from 15 matches. They're most certainly the league's entertainers, scoring 43 goals at an average of almost three per game.
Prior to Christmas, they won three games on the bounce beating Wolves 5-0, Reading 5-2 and Southampton, most recently on December 18, 4-3.
Their impressive showings in attack have not gone unnoticed, with Jonathan Rowe twice featuring for the first-team over the festive period and striker Tom Dickson-Peters heading out to League One side Gillingham on loan.
Their opponents on Friday, Forest, have struggled in the league this season, winning just three of their league matches, leaving them second from bottom.
