Casual Scotland academy scout
This is an excellent role for someone who is self-motivated, and a team player with a passion for identifying young talent.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify players between the ages of U15-U18
- Comprehensive player reports
- Assist with Scouting and Recruitment coverage
- Build industry knowledge across local football
The following criteria are essential:
- Knowledge of local football
- Experience or a background in scouting
- Self-motivated and committed
- A strategic planner, organiser and co-ordinator
- Confident with the ability to work individually and as part of a successful team
- A ‘people person’ with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literate
- Scottish FA Scouting Certificate

Groundsperson
This role will be responsible for the maintenance and preparation of all surfaces for first team and academy matches, as well as some landscaping duties as directed by the head of grounds.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure all First Team and Academy pitches are maintained and ready to use as required, both indoor and outdoor
- Assist the grounds supervisor and head of grounds to deliver an end of season maintenance programme
- Ensure all routine pre-start checks are conducted on machinery before use and report any failures/faults
- Use a wide range of machinery and develop knowledge and skills to assist with all breakdowns, setting up all cylinder and rotary mowers
- Maintain all size goals and nets, ball-stop netting and report any defects
- Maintain landscaped areas at all Club sites using pedestrian mowers, strimmers, hedge trimming, hand-tools, weeding beds, blowing all leaves/stones and playing or replacing trees and shrubs

Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum two/three years in the sports turf industry
- Essential to have a NVQ Level 2 in sports turf or equivalent in Horticulture.
- Spray Certificates PA1, PA6 & PA2 would be beneficial.
- Tractor operations certificates
- Good use of machinery and all turf equipment
- Good understanding of fertiliser and chemical usage
- Manual handling
- LANTRA (or similar awarding body) qualification in operating machinery and handheld tools
- Knowledge and experience of working with SGL equipment but not essential.

Matchday vendor
Norwich City Football Club is looking to recruit motivated and enthusiastic individuals to sell our matchday programmes and lottery tickets at locations in and around the Carrow Road stadium area on matchdays.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Sales of the matchday programme
- Sales of the matchday lottery
- Handing out of promotional material

Academy football operations coordinator
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all player and team administration, as well as ensuring that all Academy players are registered with the relevant governing bodies in full compliance with the relevant rules.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Processing the registrations for U9-U16 schoolboy Players, including incoming and outgoing trialists.
- Processing the scholarship registrations for the U18 players, including incoming and outgoing trialists.
- Work in collaboration with the Club Secretary to process U21 trialists, both incoming and outgoing.
- Liaise with the PL, EFL and FA as required, to administer the necessary registration forms, and to amend and update any registrations within the U9 – U18 age groups.
- Coordinate the end of season procedure for the U9–U16 age groups, in liaison with the academy management team.
- Maintain all player files, ensuring records are kept up to date and accessible as required
- Maintain the player log for U9 – U18 signings, and update as required.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the rules and regulations surrounding player registrations, as directed domestically by the PL, EFL and FA and internationally by UEFA and FIFA.
- Act as Superuser for the Academy’s player-communication tool, Teamworks, entrusting information is shared accurately to allow the academy to run with a professional efficiency.
Essential qualifications/experience
- Strong administrative experience
- Ability to plan work and work to own initiative to meet deadlines
- Desire to work in a competitive environment, with the ability to manage pressure and sometimes competing demands

Casual 50/50 matchday seller
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic candidate to join the commercial team at Norwich City Football Club in the role of ‘50/50 Matchday Seller’.
For every game worked, the seller shall receive one FREE general admission ticket for that fixture. Therefore, if a candidate works every home fixture of the season, they will, in-effect, earn their season ticket for the 2023/24 campaign.
Responsibilities:
- Sales of the 50/50 raffle tickets to match-going fans
- Offer guidance on commercial opportunities where applicable.
- Promote all other NCFC Lotteries products.

Security guard
This is an excellent role for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and manage difficult situations with a high level of diplomacy.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure visitors are met and greeted in line with Norwich City Football Club standards
- Deal with visitor enquiries effectively, positively, politely and in a timely manner
- Notify club staff of any visitor arrivals and direct them as to where they need to go, ensuring the safety of the site at all times
- Maintain a discrete, but effective, presence across the site at all times
- Undertake effective patrols in accordance with management instructions
- Assist with the unloading of team vehicle when required
