Assistant duty manager

This is an excellent role for someone who is motivated and enthusiastic with proven experience in the catering industry.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of catering functions, events and a matchday area, ensuring a professional level of food and drink service is delivered to the highest standard.
  • Work in conjunction with duty managers, developing the skills to successfully manage large and high-profile functions and events.
  • Delivering excellent customer service as an ambassador for Delia’s Canary Catering, exceeding customer expectations at every opportunity.
  • Maintaining the Delia brand standard across the catering department.
  • Being a role model for staff, providing leadership, development and training.
  • Management of casual staff, professionally addressing any performance issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, forward planning and attention to detail.
  • Ensure that all areas that the catering team are responsible for are tidied and cleaned after each event, ensuring areas remain compliant with health and safety requirements.
  • Work as a member of the front of house team when necessary, servicing any aspect of the business to ensure service excellence and efficiency.
  • Comply with food hygiene regulations, health and safety regulations and licensing laws.

Operations co-ordinator

This is an excellent role for someone who is dynamic, reliable and organised that can assist with the successful planning required with the daily tasks and co-ordination of an operations department.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • To provide administrative support, diary, and task management to the operations department.
  • To coordinate and minute operation department team meetings (including pre and post-match meetings).
  • To liaise with the event day deployment stewarding team to ensure accurate payroll delivery.
  • To administer all records and paperwork associated with matchday stewards including management, reconciliation, and assessment adjustments for the payroll of stewards.
  • Be the lead for the operations department on supporting the club’s Premier League Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion submission by ensuring the necessary training and actions are undertaken by the stewarding team.
  • To act in a manner that supports the club’s values of Growth, Integrity, Belonging, Resilience, Pride and Commitment
