Casual North/East London Grassroots Scout

This role will be covering the different grassroots league leagues across North/East London age U13-U16. Due to the ad hoc nature of the role the candidate will need to be based in, or close to South London.

The following criteria are essential:

  • Knowledge of local football
  • Experience or a background in scouting
  • Self-motivated and committed
  • A strategic planner, organiser, and co-ordinator
  • Confident with the ability to work individually and as part of a successful team
  • A ‘people person’ with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Full driving license
  • Talent ID Level 2

Care and Accommodation Providers

Norwich City Football Club’s Academy are seeking family homes to provide care and accommodation for our talented young academy players aged between 13 and 18 years of age. Many need to live away from home to undertake training at the Lotus Training Centre and attend Ormiston Victory Academy or City of Norwich School, our partnered education providers.

Key tasks and responsibilities for care and accommodation providers include:

  • The provision of high-quality standards of care and accommodation
  • Emotional and physical support, aimed at encouraging the full potential of each young person
  • Ensuring that our young people are kept safe from harm and abuse
  • Working with the club and those with parental responsibility to promote wellbeing and speak up, where required
  • To work alongside academy staff in evaluating the impact of the care and accommodation provision on you and your family
  • Developing skills required for the role and to complete a mandatory care and accommodation training framework as required

Delia’s Canary Catering at Norwich City Football Club is looking to recruit an individual with demonstrable experience within a high-quality catering business, alongside a methodical and timely approach to their work.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of food items for Yellows restaurant at Norwich City, working to pre-set recipes
  • Ensure that all recipes are followed accurately to maintain levels of quality
  • Work as a key member of the team, with responsibility for an element of service
  • Managing the kitchen in the absence of the head chef
  • Assist with maintaining and recording all aspects of food hygiene to meet health and safety requirements and club standards
