Conference, meetings and events administrator

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administration support to our Conference, Meetings and Events Team during our busy Christmas period.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer incoming phone, web, and email enquiries in a timely manner and to Delia’s Canary Catering standards.
  • Ensure all administration tasks are completed accurately within the timescales set, including the printing of menus and table plans.
  • Assist with the sales process for all events, ensuring all terms and conditions, deposit procedures and payments are adhered to.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure all event information and function sheets are accurate and delivered within the required timeframes.
  • Accurately collate all dietary requirements, final numbers and wine pre orders and pass to the relevant department.
  • Assist with bookings for Delia’s Restaurant and Bar (including Dine and Stay and Restaurant Experience vouchers).
  • Act as host at Christmas parties; immaculately presented, providing a professional and genuine welcome to all customers, to the highest standard.

Junior Development and Experiences Executive

This position will support the junior development and memberships manager focusing on the club’s membership scheme, matchday experiences and junior fanbase, with a focus on growth, engagement, and retention.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the administration and fulfilment of all junior and adult memberships and membership renewals
  • Lead the day-to-day response to supporter queries and enquiries via all customer service channels including email, and telephone providing an excellent level of customer service to supporters at all times, demonstrating the willingness to go the extra mile
  • Assist with the delivery of all junior and adult membership events.
  • Take responsibility for the Junior Canaries website, ensuring it is continuously updated whilst maintaining a best-in-class junior experience
  • Lead the delivery of the monthly junior canaries newsletter, whilst supporting the junior development & memberships manager in wider promotional campaigns
  • Working with the relevant stakeholders, deliver and develop the junior matchday activities, with a focus on leading the matchday FanZone
  • Lead the annual delivery of pitch hire, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best possible service is delivered
  • Develop the relationship with Norwich City Women to support the department's delivery and growth across this audience

Matchday/Events safety steward

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • To promote safer working practice and maintain a culture whereby safeguarding is recognised as a shared responsibility
  • Provide outstanding customer service as a representative of the club
  • Give accurate and helpful venue information, being knowledgeable about your area of work
  • Investigate and report crowd problems and assist with crowd management processes
  • Carry out pre-event checks and attend briefings
  • Promote a high level of guest integration and service
  • Monitor and direct crowds and queue management (which may include issuing verbal instructions confidently)
  • Checking tickets and welcoming visitors.
  • Enforce stadium regulations
  • Respond to incidents (may be needed to write follow-up report as required)
  • Hold static positions to ensure safety of supporters and staff
  • Maintain a clean, productive and safe working area.
  • Must be able to achieve NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety within 12 months of accepting position (provided by the club)
