Women's team matchday helpers (voluntary position)

Our matchday helpers are at the core of our proud, passionate, football community and will support with the delivery of each home fixture, assisting fans with quires, supporting the delivery of a first-class supporter experience.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting on women's team matchdays such as directing supporters around the ground, assisting in ticketing and answering fan queries.
  • Ensure spectators welfare and safeguarding are always protected.

Women's football administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join our team, supporting the head of women’s football with day-to-day operations.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for planning and coordinating all fixture logistics for home and away matchdays.
  • Ensure that all fixtures have been communicated with appropriate business areas, including operations for stewarding provision, ticketing, media and website.
  • Responsible for ensuring all home match information is sent to referees, opposition and all Nest personnel in advance of fixture in line with the FA WNL communication timescales.
  • Responsible for liaising with club's official travel supplier to book coach travel for all away fixtures, in line with budget.
  • Manage the availability of all matchday helpers in advance of all home fixtures.
  • Conducting post-match admin in accordance with FA WNL rules and regulations, processing referee payments, player discipline admin and completion of all player registration via effective use of appropriate FA online systems (MOAS, WGS, FA FULL-TIME).
  • Responsible for the coordination and distribution of all player and staff club kit, including maintenance of stock quantity control.  
  • Ordering, processing, receiving and invoicing purchase orders and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance and stay up-to-date with league rules, regulations and guidelines.
  • Represent Norwich City Women as and when required in the media and at public events in a professional manner.

Duty manager (maternity cover)

This is an excellent role for someone who is motivated and enthusiastic with proven experience in the catering industry, with the key responsibility being to deliver the day-to-day duties of the catering business.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of catering functions, events and a matchday area, ensuring a professional level of food, drink and bar service is delivered to the highest standard.
  • Delivering excellent customer service as an ambassador for Delia’s Canary Catering.
  • A role model for staff, providing inspirational leadership, development and training.
  • Management of casual staff, professionally addressing any performance issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, forward planning and attention to detail.
  • Ensure that all areas which the Catering team are responsible for are tidied and cleaned after each event, ensuring areas remain compliant with Health and Safety requirements.
  • Work as a member of the front of house team when necessary, servicing any aspect of the business to ensure service excellence and efficiency.
  • Comply with food hygiene regulations, health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
