Business Content Lead
Location: Carrow Road, Norwich
Contract and Hours: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Any 5 days out of 7 as agreed

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate to join The Communications Department at Norwich City Football Club in the role of Business Content Lead. This is an excellent role for someone who is enthusiastic, creative and engaging, possessing an immaculate eye for detail and thrive working within a fast-paced setting. The ideal applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills in order to build and grow on existing relationships with external media, as well as having an innovative outlook to ensure the best stories are told.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Help shape, manage and populate the club’s commercial and non-footballing content across its media channels.
- Lead the way in producing innovative and creative content to help tell the wider story of our football club and business.
- Working closely with the content manager, develop a clear content plan and strategy centred around club’s non-footballing areas and events.
- Ensure all commercial and non-football content is aligned to the club’s wider content strategy and business objectives.
- Forge and develop key relationships and daily interactions across the business, paying particular attention to the club’s non-footballing areas.
- Monitor external media channels and recognise the opportunity to tell a great story.
- Work closely with the Club’s PR and Communications Team in devising a strategy for engaging external media in the Club’s non-footballing activity.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree of equivalent qualification in journalism/content production
- Experience of publishing content across social media platforms
