**Casual Academy Driver**
**Location:** Lotus Training Centre
**Contract and hours:** Casual, as and when required. Approximately 20-25 hours per week
**Salary:** £9.00 (local) / £10.50 (non-local) / £100.00 (matchday) / £240.00 (tour)
The Norwich City Football Club Academy is looking to recruit a mini-bus driver on a casual basis to start with immediate effect. The successful individual will be responsible for transporting Academy players to and from training at the Lotus Training Centre during the week, assisting with trialist chaperoning as well as occasionally covering transport to games on Saturdays and Sundays upon request.
Reporting into the Academy Operations Manager, this exciting opportunity involves working variable hours on an ad-hoc casual basis throughout the week, and on weekends.
**Required experience;**
\- Mini-bus driving experience: 1 year (minimum)
\- D1 Driving License.
\- Clean Driving Licence.
\- Safeguarding Statement.
The role requires a candidate with an ability to work flexible hours, sometimes on short notice.
You will need to have excellent communication skills to ensure a good working relationship with the Academy Operations Team, Coaching Staff and Players.

**Peterborough Casual Scout**
**Location:** Off site at various locations – Peterborough
**Contract and hours:** Casual, hours are assigned on an ad-hoc basis and can be accepted or declined
**Salary:** £10.00 per hour worked
Norwich City Football Club is looking to recruit a Lead Scout on a casual basis to watch grassroots football in Peterborough for players aged U12-U15 years. Due to the ad hoc nature of the role the candidate will need to be based in, or close to Peterborough.
The Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) is a long-term plan introduced by the Premier League to promote the development of a world leading Academy system. It aims to deliver an environment that promotes excellence, nurtures talent and systematically converts this talent into professional players capable of playing first team football at the Club that develops them. Within the plan professional Clubs are awarded a categorisation for their Academy, depending on their ability to fulfil the criteria outlined above. Our Academy has been awarded the highest possible status (Category One).
Scouts are required to assist with Scouting and Recruitment, providing a systematic coverage of local football in order to identify realistic recruitment targets for the Academy at Norwich City Football Club.
Successful applicants will be paid an hourly rate which will be systematically reviewed so that high achievers are offered higher remuneration and more games to watch.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years scouting experience and knowledge of the following leagues:
· Junior Premier League
· Peterborough Junior Alliance League
· Peterborough & District Youth League
· Mid Norfolk Youth League
The following criteria are essential:
· Knowledge of local football
· Experience or a background in scouting
· Self-motivated and committed
· A strategic planner, organiser and co-ordinator
· Confident with the ability to work individually and as part of a successful team
· A ‘people person’ with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Computer literate
· Full Driving License
