Casual south London grassroots scout
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate to join the academy recruitment department at Norwich City in the role of casual grassroots scout in south London for players aged Under-13 to Under-16 years.
Due to the ad hoc nature of the role the candidate will need to be based in, or close to South London.
As the role is a casual one, hours will be assigned on an ad-hoc basis which can be accepted or declined.
The following criteria are essential:
- attending local fixtures on Saturdays and Sundays.
- reporting on players involved to help identify players for Norwich City.
- knowledge of local football
- experience or a background in scouting
- self-motivated and committed
- a strategic planner, organiser and co-ordinator
- confident with the ability to work individually and as part of a successful team
- a ‘people person’ with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- computer literate
- full driving licence
- attend CPD events offered by Norwich City to support your role development.
