Head of London academy recruitment
The role of the head of London academy recruitment is fundamental to the long-term vision of Norwich City in identifying and recruiting the most talented young players for the club.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identification and recruitment of players across the Player Performance Pathway in adherence with club profiles.
- Manage trialist identification games.
- Assist in implementing strategy for internal and external scouting in the London and surrounding areas.
- Develop and manage a network of scouts and contacts to work in support of internal and external strategies.
- Assist in the maintenance and development of the Talent Identification database.
- Implement scouting policy and protocol for scouts attending games.
- Develop relationships with London and surrounding area academy and non-academy football teams.
- Develop relationships with London and surrounding area schools.
- To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of academy and non-academy players
- Administration as required.
- Undertake travel across the UK.
- Support crossover watches when required via video or live.
- Watch and report on eight games live or video each week.

Catering duty manager (maternity cover)
This is an excellent role for someone who is motivated and enthusiastic with proven experience in the catering industry, with the key responsibility being to deliver the day-to-day duties of the catering business.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Management of catering functions, events and a matchday area, ensuring a professional level of food, drink and bar service is delivered to the highest standard.
- Delivering excellent customer service as an ambassador for Delia’s Canary Catering, exceeding customer expectations at every opportunity.
- A role model for staff, providing inspirational leadership, development and training.
- Management of casual staff, professionally addressing any performance issues.
- Excellent communication skills, forward planning and attention to detail.
- Ensure that all areas which the Catering team are responsible for are tidied and cleaned after each event, ensuring areas remain compliant with Health and Safety requirements.
- Work as a member of the front of house team when necessary, servicing any aspect of the business to ensure service excellence and efficiency.
- Comply with food hygiene regulations, health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
