**Location:** Carrow Road, Norwich
**Contract and hours:** Permanent, 40 hours a week, any five days out of seven as agreed including matchdays
**Salary:** £19,760 per annum
We are looking for a methodical, organised and hard-working kitchen porter to join the Catering team at Norwich City Football Club.

The successful applicant will be involved in producing pastry items for all restaurant areas within Delia’s Canary Catering, adhering to the Delia Smith brand and recipes at all times.
**Other key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**
\- Washing up kitchen crockery and chef items as required, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness within the 11 kitchens to help maintain the Club’s exemplary food hygiene rating
\- Working on matchdays as a key member of the team in one of our fantastic kitchens, taking responsibility for an element of service
\- Training, assisting and supervising casual kitchen porters, leading by example
\- Undertaking necessary equipment maintenance, including the cleaning of fryers and ovens, monitoring of chemical stock levels and dispensers, refilling of salt machines, and ensuring dishwashers are in working order
\- Collecting crockery and equipment as required for a variety of our functions and buffets
\- Assisting with basic food preparation as set by the Sous or Head Chef
\- Covering for the Kitchen Storeman when they are absent, receiving deliveries and completing food hygiene documentation as required
\- Assisting with the maintenance and recording for all aspects of food hygiene to meet Health and Safety Legislation and requirements of the Club’s Food Management System
The position will involve working weekends, evenings and some bank holidays, so applicants must be able to work some unsociable hours depending on the needs of the business.
