An exciting opportunity has arisen within Delia’s Canary Catering, Norwich City in the role of Lotus Cars Dining Room Assistant.
The role is 24 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an excellent level of food and drink service, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded at every opportunity.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Provide a professional greeting to all customers, Being observant and attentive to customer’s needs. Building rapport with customers by utilising excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
2. Accurate and efficient use of tills.
3. Accurate taking of orders and clear communication with Chefs and the Back of House Team regarding customer orders and dietary requirements.
4. To be immaculately presented at all times. Pride in your appearance and that of the Catering Team as ambassadors for Delia’s Canary Catering.
5. A thorough understanding of the menu with and the ability to clearly communicate this to customers.
6. Assist with Back of House tasks and duties when needed.
7. Comply with Food hygiene regulations, Health and Safety regulations and Licensing laws.
8. Ensure that stock on display is sufficient for the smooth running of the days business.
9. Perform daily stock takes and record these accurately.
10. Responsible for ensuring the service areas within the dining room are always clean and tidy and remain compliant with Health and Safety requirements.
11. Maintain, top up and clean coffee machines.
12. To act in a manner that supports the club's Values of Growth, Integrity, Belonging, Resilience, Pride and Commitment
Applicants would need their own transport to travel to Potash Lane, Hethel as public transport is not available.
To succeed in this role you must have excellent customer service and communication skills. With the ability to multitask and step up during peak times.
