An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate to join the Academy Coaching department on a casual basis at Norwich City Football Club in the role of Pre Academy Coach.
The purpose of the role is to support the development of players within the Pre-Academy Phase, working within the framework of the Academy training and playing models. This is an excellent role for someone who possesses a growth mindset, with the capability of delivering effective team coaching sessions as well as small group/individual sessions.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Plan, deliver and review coaching sessions and fixtures with Pre-Academy Phase age groups
- Monitor players Individual Learning Plans and design coaching sessions to give players opportunity to work on them
- Ensure all administrative tasks relating to the coaching programme are kept up to date
- To act in a manner that supports the Club’s Values of Growth, Integrity, Belonging, Resilience, Pride and Commitment
All applicants should have the following qualifications/experience:
- Basic First Aid
- Safeguarding children
- Level 2 Coaching in Football (UEFA C Licence)
- Aspiring UEFA B Licence
