An exciting opportunity has arisen for a solution focused and highly organised individual to join our fast-paced Technology team here at Norwich City Football Club.

In the role of Project Manager, you will be working with numerous teams across multiple locations to deliver technology enhancements on and off the pitch. This is an excellent role for someone with exceptional relationship management skills and a keen focus on driving the bottom line. Not only will you be supporting the Technology team with operational vendor management; you will also play a huge role in bringing discipline to the project management process.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Project Management

To lead the planning and execution of small-medium technology projects across the club

To establish the project scope and goals with key stakeholders, ensuring that all elements from the signed off business case are included

To coordinate project team members ensuring availability of project resourceTo review the quality of deliverables against the business case

To manage project administration including status reporting, change requests and post implementation reviews

To report at the agreed level of frequency and format to key stakeholders

Vendor / Contract Management

To manage third party vendors during project delivery and provide support to the Web and Data teams for day-to-day management of vendor relationships

To maintain the contract, register and report on contract metrics such as renewals and lapses ahead of time

Business Case Development

To assist with the continued implementation and management of the business case process across the club

To ensure all projects have a signed off business case prior to commencement of work

Use the business case as a reference point for quality assurance and post implementation review

Systems

Support departments to use IT systems to their maximum efficiency and potential by driving optimum feature and functionality use through enhancing user’s IT knowledge, confidence, and experience. This could be in the form of inductions, training, one-to-one sessions etc

Working with the IT Team and Suppliers to ensure business system continuity planning striving for 100% availability across all systems

Other

To adhere to a strict code of confidentiality in respect of any information relating to Norwich City Football Club and its operation.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Project management qualification or working towards one
  • Knowledge of the critical elements of the project management life cycle
  • Experience in a fast-paced project environment
  • Knowledge of Business Process Management and Business Analysis
