Senior first team performance analyst
The successful candidate will work closely with the head performance analyst to ensure all performance analysis services within the first team run efficiently for players, coaches, and all staff.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Contribute and lead the development and implementation of the performance analysis framework to deliver effective insights that contribute to the winning strategies for the first team.
- Create pre-match presentations which should help to identify trends and key themes for the next match opponent and provide an evidence base (video and data) to support the game plan development.
- Contribute and lead certain aspects of all first team analysis requirements (pre-match, set plays, live and post-match analysis).
- Contribute and lead to the delivery of performance reporting to senior staff and management.
- Interpret data, develop and create interactive reports and presentations.
- Provide analytical and technical support on all required first team matchdays.
- Offer support to the improve the alignment of performance analysis processes across the football club.
- Assist in writing and continually updating the department’s standard operating procedures (SOP) documents.
