Women's team head coach
The role of the Women’s head coach is fundamental to the long-term vision of Norwich City Football Club and the strategic growth of the women’s team. The long-term vision of Norwich City Women is to be recognised as a club that champions the development of homegrown female talent through elite player pathways, driven by our proud, passionate football community.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead all training and match day fixtures for Norwich City Women, perfectly aligned with the team’s overarching goals and objectives.
- Manage a successful winning team that can achieve promotion to Tier 3 of the women’s football pyramid, based upon a core of homegrown players.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team (MDT), collaborating with medical and physical performance staff to manage the development of athletes who play football.
- Implement high-performance coaching standards, game principles, game strategies and review processes.
- Place a dedicated focus on player development, seeking both individual and team development through individual player development plans and use of analysis software.
- Monitoring the transition of players through player pathway.
- Collaborate with the women’s team general manager on the identification and recruitment of players into women’s team, aligned to the club recruitment strategy.
- Attend and represent the club at League Competition, FA meetings and coach development events.
- Represent the club in the media and at public events in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate a forward-thinking approach to undertake self-development in all aspects of coaching and leadership.

Qualifications/Experience
Essential
- UEFA B licence
- FA first aid in football
- FA safeguarding children certificate
- Full UK driving license
