Voting is now open for the Lotus Cars Goal of the Season, with 10 of the best strikes from the 2023/24 season to choose from.
Jonathan Rowe v Hull City, 05.08.2023
First up is the first goal from the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship season, as Jonathan Rowe marked his first start for the club in emphatic style.
Picking the ball up from Dimitris Giannoulis' pass, the winger surged forward and found the top corner in brilliant fashion.
Jonathan Rowe v Birmingham City, 30.09.23
Rowe's second strike of the list, the 21-year-old added his fifth of the season with this goal at home to Birmingham City.
A combination of Jack Stacey and Hwang Ui-jo won the ball back high up the pitch, and Rowe skilfully beat his defender before smashing beyond John Ruddy.
Gabriel Sara v Leeds United, 21.10.23
The first goal from Gabriel Sara, and what a goal it is. A Kenny McLean long ball is controlled by Onel Hernández, who finds the Brazilian.
From there, Sara ducks, jinks and weaves beyond a number of Leeds defenders before smashing the ball beyond Illan Meslier in goal.
Hwang Ui-Jo v Watford, 28.11.23
November's attempt, Hwang Ui-Jo netted his third and final goal as a Norwich player away to Watford.
A pass from Sara was played forward, and the South Korean didn't need a touch as he picked his spot and fired beyond Ben Hamer from 30 yards.
Borja Sainz v Sheffield Wednesday, 13.12.23
Borja Sainz opened his league account for Norwich, after his summer move, with a fantastic strike at home to Sheffield Wednesday in December.
The Spaniard picked the ball up from McLean's pass and instinctively moved towards goal, finding the top corner with a fantastic effort.
Jonathan Rowe v Hull City, 12.01.24
Another Rowe goal and another one against Hull City, this one coming in January away at the MKM Stadium.
The winger picked the ball up close to the halfway line and drove forward, beating a number of Hull markers before curling into the bottom corner with the outside of his boot. This goal would be shortlisted for the EFL goal of the season.
Borja Sainz v Liverpool, 28.01.24
Sainz's second strike in this vote, as the Spaniard scored in brilliant fashion away to Liverpool at Anfield in the Emirates FA Cup.
George Long's ball forward was headed into Sainz's path by a Liverpool defender, and the winger came forward and gave Alisson no chance with the shot as it flew into the top corner.
Marcelino Núñez v Blackburn Rovers, 24.02.24
The only set-piece on the list, Marcelino Núñez's free-kick away to Blackburn Rovers is another choice to vote from.
Núñez found the top corner with his free-kick, leaving Aynsley Pears with no choice but to stand and watch.
Gabriel Sara v Rotherham United, 09.03.24
Another one of Sara's 14 league goals from the 2023/24 campaign, the Brazilian added the Canaries' fifth in the win over Rotherham.
Josh Sargent's initial effort was parried away by the Millers' goalkeeper, and Sara met the ball on the volley and it flew into the top corner.
Gabriel Sara v Swansea City, 27.04.24
The final goal to choose from, this strike came at home to Swansea in April as Sara netted in brilliant fashion once again.
A header from Christian Fassnacht set the Brazilian up, and he curled a fantastic effort beyond Carl Rushworth, going in via the crossbar.
