Callum Doyle

Loanee Callum Doyle played in every one of City's six fixtures in December, starting three games at left-back and three at centre-back.

His partnership with Shane Duffy proved invaluable in securing a clean sheet at Fratton Park and holding on for the three points against Millwall.

His ability to find team-mates with through balls and crossfield passes has also opened up space leading to goals.

Oscar Schwartau

A summer signing from Brøndby in Denmark, teenager Oscar Schwartau has played a lot more than planned this season according to head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup.

He made an additional five appearances in December, taking him to 21 in total, and also netted his first goal for the club in the win against Millwall.

Marcelino Núñez

After making his return from injury at the end of November, Chilean international Marcelino Núñez continues to show how valuable he is to this Norwich City team.

His tireless running in the middle and range of passing make him a constant threat, not to mention his shooting ability.

He provided the assist for José Córdoba's goal against Burnley before getting his third of the season to rescue a point against QPR.
