The shortlist for March's award features Angus Gunn, Jack Stacey, Gabriel Sara and Josh Sargent.

City played five games throughout the month of March, winning four and losing away to Middlesbrough.

In the four wins, they scored 11 goals, conceding just once.

Angus Gunn played every minute of the Canaries' five games in March.

He kept three clean sheets, against Sunderland, Rotherham United and Stoke City.

The Scotland international was also influential in the 2-1 win against Plymouth Argyle on Good Friday with a 78th-minute save to deny Ryan Hardie his highlight from the game.

It was another positive month for Jack Stacey who continues his run of playing in every league game so far this campign.

The flying full-back added two assists to his tally against Rotherham United, acting as provider for both Gabriel Sara and Josh Sargent.

As well as his tireless running in attack, he contributed to the three clean sheets in March.

In a season where Gabriel Sara has reached double figures for both goals and assists in the league, March was a month where he was at his best.

An assist for Ashley Barnes' strike against Middlesbrough was followed by another against Rotherham United. He also scored two of his own in that game, the second a stunning half-volley from the edge of the penalty area.

His third goal of the month was a perfectly-placed effort at the bet365 Stadium to help Norwich on their way to three points.

Josh Sargent

USA international Josh Sargent was in clinical form again in March, continuing his run of successive home games with a goal.

He got the only goal of the game against Sunderland, added the Canaries' fourth in the first half against Rotherham and grabbed a vital equaliser against Plymouth Argyle.

He also netted in the 3-0 win away to Stoke City.
