David Wagner suffered his first league defeat as Norwich City boss at the hands of Burnley.
The league leaders came to Carrow Road with only two defeats in the Sky Bet Championship and came away with a 3-0 win.
They lead in the first half thanks to Yanass Zaroury's effort and a double in the space of six second-half minutes secured their victory.
Burnley's early goal didn't come without warning. Nathan Tella was denied by an excellent Grant Hanley block just a couple of minutes in.
However, there was nothing the skipper could do about Zaroury's opener in the eighth minute as a misplaced pass gifted the winger a shooting chance.
The Moroccan made no mistake in slotting into the back of the net.
City's first real attack arrived in the 18th minute when Teemu Pukki escaped in behind. His backheel to Kieran Dowell was hit first-time but Bailey Peacock-Farrell was in the way.
City were slowly finding their feet and matched the league leaders for the remainder of the first half, but without testing the Burnley 'keeper.
Although, Peacock-Farrell did have a scare when it looked as though Pukki had caught him in possession in a dangerous position, but the striker couldn't get enough of a connection on the ball.
The visitors came out after the break looking to prevent the Canaries from building up some momentum by slowing play.
And when Vitinho added their second with his first touch after being introduced, they were able to play the game from deep.
A third arrived very soon after through Hjalmer Ekdal, again from a corner as the central defender reacted quickest in the six-yard box.
The introduction of Marcelino Núñez provided some spark for City as he linked well with Gabriel Sara.
However, it would again go without testing Peacock-Farrell in the Burnley net. Cries for a handball in the penalty area and a deflected Núñez volley would provide the biggest scares in the Burnley half.
