A La Liga watch party at Carrow Road might seem a bit strange at first glance, but here's how it came to be and why you should come along.

Turismo de Gran Canaria

You'll hopefully be aware of Norwich City's new partnership with Turismo de Gran Canaria; their logo sits on the sleeve of the men's team shirts, and the new half-time crossbar challenge is another element of the partnership.

This very important deal to the club came about thanks to a relationship fostered with Unión Deportiva Las Palmas, the premier sports team on the island of Gran Canaria.

Unión Deportiva Las Palmas

'Los Amarillos' (The Yellows) were promoted back to the top division of Spanish football last season and have already faced some of the giants of the game in the 2023/24 campaign.

We have a terrific relationship with the club and if you're looking for a Spanish team to follow, we think UDLP are a great choice.

The watch party is a chance to see them go up against one of La Liga’s biggest names in Atlético Madrid.

Soon, you'll also be able to grab a UDLP shirt from the official Canaries stores.

The watch party

Free Dino's fully loaded hot dog, free drink, free t-shirt, and a great evening out watching football. Sounds like a winner, right? That's the deal for those who come along next Friday (November 3).

Doors open at 7pm, with kick-off at 8pm. There is a free San Miguel (or soft drink alternative) on arrival, while the first 50 people through the doors will get themselves a free UDLP t-shirt.

We'll be hosting some of our peers from UDLP with whom we'll be working closely in months to come.

Book a spot and secure your free drink and hot dog here – admission is free.

The venue

The Lion & Castle has been a terrific improvement to Carrow Road this season and is open pregame to Barclay ticket holders and afterwards to allcomers.

It’s a great spot for some food, drink, and live sport on its big screens – fans recently enjoyed the Merseyside derby and the FIFA Women’s World Cup final before home games at Carrow Road.
