Norwich City Women are delighted to announce that defender Evie Williams has signed a new contract with the club.

Having been involved in every single one of City's fixtures during the 2025/26 campaign, Williams has shown her versatility in a variety of defensive roles and proved an asset to the club's promotion success.

On extending her stay at the club, Williams said: "It’s a really exciting time for everyone at the club, obviously, now getting promoted.

"That whole promotion weekend, those are memories we'll all share for life.

"I think we'll all remember so fondly that we're part of the journey to get where we all wanted to be.

"I've always been pretty set on staying as long as the club would have me because the club really does feel like a family; everyone settled in here and we all get on both on and off the pitch.

"We spend a lot of time together, but I'd spend more time with the girls if I could - I just love them all!"

Head of women's football, Flo Allen, said: ""Evie is a player with a high ceiling and has significant potential for continued development.

"Whilst predominantly operating as a centre-back, her tactical understanding of the game allows her to be versatile and operate in a number of roles across the defensive and midfield units.

'Evie brings great energy to the team, and I am excited to see her continue her footballing journey with the club."
