Following Norwich City’s celebration of LGBT+ History Month, the club has teamed up with principal partner Turismo de Gran Canaria for a competition with the prize of a trip to the Maspalomas Pride by Freedom Parade 2024.
The pride event takes place in Maspalomas between May 2 and May 12, with the main parade on May 11 typically attracting around 300,000 people.
The island of Gran Canaria is a big supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and prides itself on being a warm and welcoming location for everyone to visit.
The prize is for four people and includes return flights, five nights’ accommodation, and VIP passes for the parade (including preferential access to all the parade’s official parties).
Entrants must fill out this form before 11.59 on Sunday, March 3.
Pride T-Shirt
As a further celebration of LGBT+ History Month, we have collaborated with Turismo de Gran Canaria to launch a limited-edition pride t-shirt, which can be purchased online and in our official Canaries stores (£25).
Every t-shirt sale will result in a £5 donation to the charity Stonewall and each purchase comes with five free entries into the Maspalomas Pride competition (if purchased before the closing date).
LGBT+ History Month
Earlier in the month, Norwich City’s men’s and women’s first teams wore shirts bearing rainbow versions of their respective sponsors’ logos.
The shirts will be auctioned on the club’s website to raise funds for Stonewall in due course.
