Norwich City Women beat Wroxham Women 3-1 away from home on Sunday afternoon in the third pre-season test of the summer.
Natasha Snelling opened the scoring early on before a late flurry of second-half goals.
Lara Densley had put Norwich two in front before Wroxham quickly pegged one back for the hosts. Olivia Cook then made it 3-1 to wrap up the victory for Andy Cook's side.
City opened the scoring in the eighth minute when Evie Williams burst down the left channel and sent a dangerous low ball across the box for Snelling, who slid in at the far post to turn home from close range.
The visitors kept the pressure on with a couple of efforts from distance. First from Holly Kennard who hit a powerful strike from just outside the box and, two minutes later, Millie Daviss tried a curler from a wide angle. Both efforts sailed narrowly wide of the top-left corner.
Wroxham went close in the 26th minute on the break from a Norwich corner. The ball was smashed clear at the near post all the way up to the halfway line, but the effort that followed in a one-on-one with Holly Mears dragged wide of the far corner.
The hosts almost equalised 15 minutes later when Kathryn Stanley peeled off into space at the far post to meet a deep cross but she could only head wide under pressure from Mears.
Norwich went close in first-half stoppage time when Ellie Bishop's floated corner found the head of Kennard but her effort sailed over.
Densley was introduced in the 70th minute and made an instant impact, scoring with her first touch 30 seconds later.
She found space in the box and flicked a header from a right-wing cross into the far corner to double City's advantage.
Wroxham hit back two minutes later to halve the deficit. A long ball into the box pinballed around until it came to the feet of Alice Collins, who struck a snapshot goalwards which squirmed in under Mears.
City restored the two-goal advantage after 77 minutes with a brilliantly worked move.
Kennard's deep cross was met by Freya Symonds at the far post who cushioned the ball back into the box on the volley for the onrushing Cook, who calmly rolled it into the bottom-left corner.
Norwich almost added a fourth 10 minutes later when Sienna Booty let fly from 25 yards but her shot came agonisingly back off the inside of the post and out.
The Canaries are in back in action at home on Sunday, August 3, against Wroxham in a behind-closed-doors tie.
