Norwich City Women are back in league action on Tuesday evening away from home to AFC Sudbury.
The Division One South East match will take place at the MEL Group Stadium in a 7.45pm kick-off.
The Canaries will be looking to bounce back after a 2-2 draw against Chesham United on Sunday, City equalising in injury time to snatch a point against the Generals.
Andy Cook's side remain unbeaten in the league and still hold top spot after five games.
The Opposition
Tuesday night's hosts have started their 2024/25 campaign off to a commendable start, winning twice, drawing once and losing out only to newly relegated Chatham Town on their home turf.
They picked up maximum points against QPR at home (1-0) and Chesham United away (2-1), with a 2-2 draw against Actonians.
With five goals accumulated so far, Alex Penny and Jessica Allen are the ones to watch, scoring two apiece.
Sudbury's Sunday fixture due to be played against Real Bedford was postponed at the weekend due to a waterlogged pitch.
Head To Head
Last season's campaign was the first time these two sides had met, both results going Norwich's way.
On the opening day of the Division One South East season, newly promoted AFC Sudbury forced City to push until the end to find a winner. Kathryn Stanley was on the scoresheet first, an equaliser from the hosts' Evie Creaton coming early in the second half.
Freya Symonds was the hero of the match, netting a free-kick in injury time for a dramatic finish and three points for the Canaries.
In the reverse fixture at The Nest, City were much more in control, claiming a 4-1 victory on the penultimate day of the campaign.
Aliyat Lamb got the game going and gave the visitors the lead inside 25 minutes.
Natasha Snelling found an equaliser shortly after to keep things level at the break but the floodgates opened in the second half, and Hailes, Flye and Snelling again were all on the scoresheet to end the game 4-1.
The Suds finished their season in 10th place with 17 points, well clear of the drop zone.
