This weekend Norwich City Women travel to face Ashford Town in gameweek four of Division One South East.
The match will take place at Rectory Meadow, kicking off at 2pm on Sunday, September 8.
City go into the match having won all three of their opening league fixtures, keeping two clean sheets and scoring 10 goals.
The Opposition
It's been a tough start for the Tangerines this campaign, as they sit bottom of the table with no points.
High-flying Real Bedford put three past Town on the opening day of the season, followed up by a 3-1 loss in their first home game against Chesham United.
Last week saw a heavy defeat to newly-promoted Dulwich Hamlet, who scored seven against Town on Pepper Army's home turf.
The 2023/24 season was a positive one for Town, as they finished fourth, 13 points behind the Canaries. They were also the only team throughout the entire season that managed to beat the Yellows, claiming a 1-0 win on the final day of the season.
Adam Frailing's side have made seven new signings this summer, but will be without Georgia Young on Sunday, who was shown a red card in Town's game against Chesham United.
Last Time Out
The last time these two sides faced each other on Ashford turf came on the final day of the 2023/24 season, with just the one goal from the hosts' Anya Kinnane.
Head-To-Head
City and Town have had just four recorded meetings, with two wins for Norwich, one 0-0 draw and one win for Ashford.
