Norwich City Women host QPR Women at Carrow Road this weekend for their final Division One South East fixture of the 2024/25 season.
The tie will take place at 2pm on Sunday, April 27.
The Canaries go into the match unbeaten in 2025, having only dropped points against league winners Real Bedford.
City's last fixture in the league saw them beat Actonians 2-0 on the road, Freya Symonds and Ellie Smith on the scoresheet.
The opposition
The R’s will be hoping to gain a place on London Bees for fourth spot in Division One South East, their joint-highest finish since the 2021/22 campaign.
Steve Quashie’s side have picked up 36 points in 21 games played, with 10 wins, six draws and five losses.
They have claimed four wins out of five in their most recent league outings, only losing Bedford.
Their last Division One South East tie earned them an impressive 4-1 win over Cambridge United on home turf, Courtnay Ward-Chambers, Emily Hill, Billie Brooks and Jess Leach on the scoresheet.
Top-scorer Grace Stanley currently has 14 goals to her name, Ward-Chambers not far behind on nine.
Although eight points behind the Canaries, QPR will be hoping to maintain an unbeaten record against Norwich City this season, having claimed a 2-1 win at Loftus Road earlier in the season.
Last time out
These two sides met back in November, when City fell to only their second first league defeat of the season.
Stanley opened the scoring just one minute into the second half, but a quick response from the Canaries meant Ceri Flye could head home the equaliser just 10 minutes later.
With just five minutes left on the clock, QPR found a way through from a throw-in deep into the Norwich half, substitute Meila D'Santos netting from close-range to find a late winner.
Head to head
The two teams have met a total of seven times since 2021, with three wins for the Canaries, one draw and three wins for the Blues.
