The semi-final tie takes place on Wednesday, April 9, in a 7.45pm kick-off at the FDC in Bowthorpe with City hoping to move a step closer to their eighth County Cup title.

Andy Cook's side progressed from the quarter-finals of the cup after beating Aylsham 6-1 away from home.

Shannon Shaw collected a brace on the day, alongside first-half goals from Eloise Morran, Natasha Snelling, Lauren Hailes and Lara Densley.

Three club debuts were also made, Amber Locker getting her first start in goal and academy graduates Poppy Francis and Drew Wilson making appearances off the bench.

The winner of this fixture will face Mulbarton Belles in the final at Carrow Road at a later date.

The Opposition

The Yachtswomen currently reside in sixth place in the Premier Division of the Eastern Region Women's Football League.

They beat Dussindale and Hellesdon Rovers 2-1 in their quarter-final tie, Hayley Kindred and Jennifer Drummie on the scoresheet.

Thetford Town will face Mulbarton Wanderers on Tuesday evening in the first semi-final tie.

City faced Wroxham ahead of the 2024/25 campaign in a pre-season tie at Trafford Park, the Canaries running out 5-0 winners on the night.

These two sides also met in the final of last year's competition, Norwich taking the honours with a 6-0 win at Carrow Road.

Tickets are available to purchase online. There will be no pay on the day.

Supporters are advised to park at Roys of Bowthorpe (NR5 9HA), which is a five-minute walk from the ground.

Hot and cold food and drink will be available to purchase from the main FDC building, as well as pitch side from the snack box.
