Norwich City Women suffered their first defeat of the 2025/26 campaign losing 4-2 to Fulham Women at Craven Cottage.
Goals from Grace Riglar and Issy Moore were not enough for the Canaries to take any points in the third Division One South East tie.
Andy Cook made no changes to his starting 11 who were victorious over QPR last weekend in a 2-0 win on the road, Poppy Francis coming in for Ellie Smith on the bench.
City started the game on the front foot, crosses from Olivia Cook and Freya Symonds on either side creating chances for Natasha Snelling and Grace Riglar, but neither Canary could find an opener.
Brilliant work rate from Millie Daviss allowed a dangerous cross in from Cook again before the 10-minute mark but Holly Kennard wasn't able to get on the end of it.
The first free-kick of the game came from Fulham's Ellie Olds, but she could only find Evie Williams to block the effort.
The hosts found their first goal on the counter-attack, clearing the ball from a Norwich corner and finding Madi Parsonson on the break who fired a ball into the back of Holly Mears' net.
City responded immediately however, this time finding the back of the net from their own corner.
Symonds stepped up to take it from the right and Riglar headed home to equalise with 24 minutes played.
Fulham then had the opportunity to go ahead again, a cross from goalscorer Parsonson narrowly missing the feet of Olds waiting in the box.
After her assist for City's goal, Symonds was looking to get on the scoresheet herself, firing an effort from 40 yards out that landed on the roof of the net.
The hosts then pulled ahead again, Ella Tagliavini tapping in from close-range from a corner for Fulham's second of the game.
Stealing the ball in a dangerous position, Symonds again had a chance to find the target but her effort was dealt with by a sliding block, going behind for a corner.
The hosts kicked off the second half and started on the attack immediately, Jade Bradley's effort having to be stifled by Mears in the opening two minutes.
A floating cross from Cook found Holly Kennard heading goalward, but the winger could only nod an effort wide of the post.
Fulham added their third of the afternoon from a scramble in the box, where the ball eventually fell to the feet of substitute Becky Stormer who pushed the ball over the line in the 50th minute.
A diving save from Mears was required to stop a powerful effort from Bradley again.
Daviss then made an important block to stop Katie Dungate from getting her effort on target.
City then pulled one back after goalkeeper Jacqui Goldsmid was unable to clear a ball in the box chased down by Eloise Hall, allowing Issy Moore to collect and roll the ball into the back of the net with 20 minutes to play.
Valiant defending from Riglar and Flye stopped a fourth Fulham goal with five minutes to play.
The final blow was delivered by Bradley in the 90th minute, netting the fourth for Fulham.
Snelling had one final effort for Norwich after a free-kick delivered into the box by Symonds but could only fire over the bar.
City are next in action in the FAWNL Plate against Read Bedford on Sunday, September 7.
