Norwich City Women were held to a 1-1 draw against Luton Town Women, Faith Harrison getting the goal for the Canaries on her full debut for the club.

The forward netted her goal in the first half with the hosts finding the equaliser three minutes from full-time.

Andy Cook made two changes to the side that beat Actonians 3-0 in the Canaries' last outing, recent signings Emily Wallace and Harrison get their first starts for the club.

Holly Kennard and Hope Strauss dropped to the bench in their place.

The first corner was won by Harrison inside the first five minutes and delivered by Lara Densley into the area but no yellow shirts could keep hold of the ball.

The hosts had their first effort from the edge of the box after a Town free-kick deep in City's half, but it was no challenge for Sarah Quantrill who would catch with ease.

A clever interception from Millie Daviss set-up Harrison to shoot on the edge of the area but Sarah Hudson blocked and collected on her line.

Another City corner led to a floated ball into the back post from Densley that perfectly found Freya Symonds waiting in the area, the midfielder heading just wide.

Norwich then found the opener with 24 minutes played, Harrison taking a brilliant strike from distance that Hudson got a hand to but eventually rolled into the back of the net.

The forward then linked up nicely with Densley who released her down the wing to cut a cross back across goal, only for Hudson to intercept and collect before Snelling could poke home to extend the lead.

Some excellent work from Issy Moore sent Snelling down the right flank and allowed her to get the ball in the area over the top of the Town stopper who was covered and the ball cleared by a defender.

The first convincing Luton effort of the second half came through Janice Beaufort, her strike finding the target but falling straight to Quantrill who only had to get low to collect.

Another great run from Moore found Harrison in the area whose flick was on target but snatched away from goal by Hudson.

Symonds then had a go and also managed to find the target but fired straight at the home side's goalkeeper.

Luton Town then found an equaliser from a free-kick with just three minutes of normal time remaining, Shianne Swarres getting the goal.

Substitute Holly Kennard continued to create chances for the Canaries following the equaliser, her best cross finding Grace Riglar, who had moved up top, but she could only fire over from close-range.

Despite dropping points, a draw elsewhere for Fulham means City remain a point behind the league leaders.
