Norwich City Women scored in the 96th minute to secure a 1-0 victory at home to Dulwich Hamlet in Division One South East.
Grace Riglar scored the winner from the spot, making it a full year of league wins at home for the Canaries.
Andy Cook named an unchanged starting 11 from last weekend's 2-1 win over Cambridge United, with new signing Faith Harrison earning her place on the bench.
After a steady opening 10 minutes, a Natasha Snelling free-kick reached Issy Moore in the area but the midfielder headed her effort high and wide.
Freya Symonds sent in a fantastic ball that Dulwich's Zhara Cheeseman parried away, but only as far as Holly Kennard, who was then also denied by the Dulwich stopper, this time at point-blank range.
Symonds then tried her luck from the edge of the area, only narrowly missing the target.
Kennard recovered a ball on the edge of the visitor's box to strike at an angle but she sent her effort inches wide of the target.
Lara Densley delivered a corner in from the left that found the head of Williams who was close to finding the opener, but her effort fell inches wide.
City started the second half pushing Dulwich high up their own half, Riglar getting a looping shot towards goal that Cheeseman collected.
Williams fired a brilliant effort from range that smashed the left post and came back out for Kennard, who could only find the side-netting.
Just before the hour mark, a flick from Densley was fumbled by the Dulwich stopper but City just could not find the back of the net in the rebound.
Densley then rattled the crossbar with a looping shot with 60 minutes played.
The game looked like it was going to end all square, until substitute Eloise King won City a penalty in added time on her return from injury.
Riglar stepped up to the spot to turn home the winner in the 96th minute, sealing the three points on home turf.
As Fulham were out of action this weekend due to a waterlogged pitch, the Canaries rise to the top of the league table after the win.
Norwich City Women play their final game of 2025 next weekend when they travel to Actonians on Sunday, December 7.
