City Women progressed to the next round of the FAWNL Plate after beating Actonians 2-0 in round two at The Nest on Sunday.
Shannon Shaw was on top form and collected a brace for the Canaries in a testing game on home turf.
Scotland Under-19 international Eloise Morran was back in the starting 11 following her call-up on Monday and Sienna Booty was selected for her full Norwich debut.
City started the game lively, enjoying spells of playing out from the back three in a new formation for the side from head coach Andy Cook.
Hope Strauss was then also first to get an attempt at goal, as Ceri Flye found the centre-back on the edge of the area in space but Strauss' shot went just wide of the mark.
Just a minute later, Lara Densley had a go from distance, her effort requiring Elisa Dogor to palm away to safety.
Flye was playing particularly well down the right to drive play forward, with the help of Millie Daviss, who was playing a role higher up the pitch.
A fantastic shot on target from Lauren Tomlinson after half an hour looked certain to find the opener, but Dogor was strong again and punched behind.
The first effort from the visitors came shortly after, when a weak shot went goalward but Sarah Quantrill collected with ease.
A final charge from City came just minutes before the half-time whistle as Morran struck a shot going on target, only to be denied by a blue shirt in the six-yard box.
Quantrill was immediately called into action in the second half to tip away a loose ball rolling towards her net.
After a spell of frustration from City, two fantastic efforts in quick succession came from Shannon Shaw, the first forcing a brilliant save from Dogor and the second hit the bar.
The forward's efforts were rewarded straight after when Daviss flicked on a ball to Shaw, who shot with the outside of her foot and found the bottom right corner for the breakthrough with 20 to play.
Substitute Holly Kennard's first touch was fired at goal thanks to a perfectly placed cross from Tomlinson, but Dogor was there again to tip away to safety.
The result was then sealed when Shaw tapped in her second, thanks to a cross from Snelling and a header glanced on from Kennard to set her up perfectly in front of goal.
Norwich City return to league action next weekend with a trip to London Bees.
