Norwich City Women confidently dispatched Chesham United Ladies 9-2 at The Nest for another three points in Division One South East.
Freya Symonds, Holly Kennard and Lara Densley netted a brace each, with Issy Moore and Grace Riglar getting on the scoresheet too, while there was also an own goal.
There were just two changes to the side that beat AFC Sudbury in mid-week, Moore and Symonds returning from their absences in place of Drew Wilson and Ellie Bishop, who moved to the bench.
A strike set-up by Kennard for Natasha Snelling hit the bar after Grace Amos managed to get a fingertip to the effort.
The resulting corner pinballed in the area after consecutive efforts from Evie Williams, Riglar, Symonds and Hope Strauss, eventually being collected from danger by the visitors' stopper.
The opener then came in the 16th minute following a Symonds corner that couldn't find any yellow shirts but ended up being turned into the back of the net by one of Chesham's own.
City continued to press Chesham deep, a lovely link-up from Symonds and Millie Daviss eventually finding Kennard, who tapped an effort inches wide of the target.
The lead was then extended on the half-hour mark as Kennard played a superb ball to send Symonds in over the top, who beat the goalkeeper to the ball and expertly lobbed her for City's second.
It took just five minutes for Norwich to get the third, a brilliant press allowing Densley to steal the ball deep in Chesham's half and fire past Amos at the near post.
A chaotic injury time before the second half closed then ensued, with three goals in three minutes.
The first came from a Symonds wonderstrike that perfectly found the top-right corner to make it four.
Chesham then found a consolation goal through top-scorer Jenny Nagle shortly after, but their celebrations were cut short as City scored from kick-off after another brilliant hit from the Canaries, Moore finding the back of the net this time.
A quick start in the second half for Norwich had them net their sixth, seventh and eighth goals before the hour mark.
A low ball in from Ceri Flye down the right reached Riglar waiting in the box at the near post and a simple tap-in made it 6-1.
The seventh was set up by Moore, who battled for the ball on the edge of the box and found Kennard to pass her defender and confidently slot the ball into the bottom corner.
Kennard then netted her second of the game shortly after, as she drilled a low shot on target that Amos initially got a hand to but could only turn the effort into the bottom corner.
City's ninth of the game came with 10 minutes left on the clock, substitute Olivia Cook crossing to Densley in the six-yard box who only had to poke home to net another for Andy Cook's side.
United did pull a second one back after Nagle noticed Mears off her line, looping a shot over her head to land perfectly in the back of the net with six minutes to play, finishing the game at 9-2.
City are back at The Nest on Sunday, November 9, in the second round of the FAWNL Plate hosting Brighton and Hove Albion Under-21s.
