Norwich City Women continued their unbeaten start to the 2025/26 season with a 2-0 victory away to Queens Park Rangers in the FAWNL Division One South East.
Freya Symonds and Issy Moore struck in the second half, as the Canaries produced an impressive display at the Powerday Stadium.
Holly Kennard registered the game's first shot on target just after the 10-minute mark, but her curled effort was held well by the QPR goalkeeper.
Symonds was next to threaten for the Canaries, with her shot forcing Kenny Clarke in the QPR goal into a good stop.
Grace Riglar came within inches of the opener as her header was cleared off the line by a defender, with the referee waving away claims for a penalty from Norwich players.
The chances continued to flow in the first half, as Symonds saw an effort hit the side-netting as the teams went into the break level.
Olivia Cook created the first opportunity in the second half, but her deflected effort was parried away by the goalkeeper.
The Canaries were awarded a penalty an hour into the game, with Symonds scoring from the spot to open the scoring.
And Norwich doubled their lead not long after. Riglar forced her way through a number of QPR defenders before finding Moore, who fired beyond the goalkeeper.
Riglar could've added a third goal shortly after, as she got up highest from a corner, but saw her header go narrowly wide of the post.
Late on, Lauren Hailes saw a curled effort go just over the bar as the Canaries ended the game as winners.
