Women's September Player of the Month vote open

Voting for the Norwich City Women Player of the Month award for September, presented by Sekura.id, is now open.

Supporters can have their say on who was the club’s standout performer throughout an unbeaten month of fixtures.

Andy Cook's side were in action on six occasions throughout September, with two FAWNL Plate fixtures and four league fixtures.

The four players nominated for the award are Lauren Hailes, Tamsin Med-Gill, Ceri Flye and Hope Strauss

Hope Strauss

Not only has Hope Strauss helped the Canaries to three clean sheets this month, the centre-back has also been amongst the goals, getting the only goal in a 1-0 win over Brighton Academy to send us through to the next round of the FAWNL Plate.

Ceri Flye

Fellow centre-back Ceri Flye was also on the scoresheet this month, getting a hugely important injury-time equaliser against Chesham United in the 2-2 draw at the Meadow.

Flye has been a key asset to the Canaries' game plan throughout the month, making a number of brilliant defensive interventions throughout every fixture in the month.

Tamsin Medd-Gill

It’s been a busy month for the back four at either end of the pitch, as Tamsin Medd-Gill opened her City account against AFC Sudbury, then netted again in the following match against MK Dons.

Lauren Hailes

It was a first-half and first senior hat-trick for Lauren Hailes in September, as City put on a dominant display against Ashford Town away from home.

Voting for the award closes at 9am on Thursday, October 3.
