Norwich City Women head coach Andy Cook confirmed the squad were looking forward for this weekend's play-off final in a press conference at the Avant Training Centre on Tuesday evening.
Reflecting on the season as a whole, Cook said he looked back positively.
"When you look at the points total and goals, we've scored far and away better than last year.
"We've surpassed what we did last year and we always knew that Fulham, congratulations to them, would do a brilliant job; we just fell short in those tow games.
"The actual season itself has been fantastic, we now have an opportunity to go and win a one-off game.
"It gives the players and staff the chance to perform on a national stage and we're excited to go and earn the right in this game."
Following a win for Swindon Town on Sunday, Moneyfields confirmed their position as second in the table and the opponents for Andy Cook's side this weekend.
"Myself and Ethan (Scott) have been looking at both teams for a couple of weeks now as we didn't know who we were going to face, so we didn't want to go too deep into either team but Sunday night Ethan and I left here at 12.30am, when we were happy with the work we've done.
"The players were told before last week what the plan was for the weekend, so now we've got to make sure we earn the right once that whistle starts at 1pm on Sunday.
"We've got to be battling and fighting like we have all season; if we can show half the quality we did on Sunday, we'll be happy with that.
"The experience we have in the room is huge; Sarah Quantrill has vast experience and has been to several good clubs in her career and experienced the highs of FA Cup victories, a lot of highs and a lot of lows.
"We're just happy with the way that we're working and I'm just really excited to get there and play the game.
"I know Karl Watson very well; Moneyfields came up here in pre-season, had a great weekend in Norfolk and stayed up here in the caravan park in Vauxhall, so hopefully we can repay them with a really good game on Sunday.
"We've seen a lot of games they've done well in; they're a very good side.
"Their captain Ali Hall has played against me when she was at Stoke and Shanon Albuery has scored bags of goals for them in that season.
"I've played at Burton Albion, I've won at Burton Albion, so it's always nice to go back somewhere like that, it'll be nice to go back and bring back those memories.
"We want to use all that experience we have in the changing room and the quality; there are several match winners in there and the way we work this week will put them in the position to get the rewards.
"The fans give us energy; the away game at Dulwich was fantastic.
"There's going to be tough moments at the weekend, we full expect those moments, from the start be as noisy as you can, don't let the noise drop, if we can work in synergy in those moment."
