Josh Sargent and the US Men's National Soccer Team booked their place in the Round of 16 of the World Cup with a 1-0 win over Iran last night.
Gregg Berhalter's side will meet the Netherlands on Saturday, December 3, and look to progress into the quarter-finals.
Sargent featured in all three group stage games for the US, starting against both Wales and Iran.
USA 1-1 Wales
The 22-year-old started in USA's first game of the tournament, and came close to opening the scoring when he glanced his header against the outside of the post.
Timothy Weah put the States ahead just after the half-hour mark, with Sargent chesting the ball to Christian Pulisic, who sent Weah through on goal.
Sargent featured in 74 minutes before being replaced by Haji Wright. In the 82nd minute, Wales equalised from a Gareth Bale penalty.
England 0-0 USA
Sargent came off the bench after 83 minutes to play against England in the second group game.
Replacing Wright late on, the US claimed a point after an impressive performance against Gareth Southgate's team.
Iran 0-1 USA
Pulisic scored the only game of the game, as the USA beat Iran to progress into the Round of 16.
Sargent started the game at Al Thumama Stadium, and had a very impressive performance throughout. Pressing from the front, his tireless display helped the USA progress.
The striker would come off after 77 minutes through an injury, however.
