Loan Watch | Reyes penalty hero for Woking

Vicente Reyes

Vicente Reyes saved the decisive penalty as the Chilean made his debut for Woking in the National League Cup last Tuesday.

Having joined the Cardinals on loan at the start of the month, the goalkeeper made his first appearance against Leicester City Under-21s.

Woking came from behind through goals from Josh Kelly and Tarlan Harris, before Alpha Diallo equalised to take the game to penalties and determine who would claim the additional point.

Reyes proved the hero, diving to his left to deny opposing goalkeeper Harry French and secure a 4-3 shootout victory following a 2-2 draw in normal time.

The Chilean was not involved in Woking's Emirates FA Cup defeat to National League leaders Boreham Wood on Saturday.

Matěj Jurásek came on as a second-half substitute in Sparta Prague's goalless draw with Baník Ostrava on Sunday.

Introduced in the 74th minute, the midfielder created two goalscoring opportunities and played three key passes during his 16-minute cameo.

Amankwah Forson started on the bench for Hapoel Be'er Sheva's 2-1 Israeli Premier League victory over Hapoel Jerusalem on Sunday, having scored in Thursday's Europa League defeat to AZ Alkmaar.

The Ghanaian came on in the 53rd minute as Ran Kozuk's side fought back from a goal down to move within two points of league leaders Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Louie Moulden helped Accrington Stanley continue their impressive run of form as they moved to within a point of the Sky Bet League Two play-off places.

The goalkeeper started in Saturday's 3-1 victory over play-off rivals Gillingham.

Dylan Jones started for Tranmere Rovers as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Barnet in League Two on Saturday.

Rovers took the lead through Will Vaulks in the 22nd minute, but Jones was substituted in the 65th minute with the scores level before Kabongo Tshimanga scored to condemn Tranmere to their third defeat in six matches.

Ken Aboh came on as a second-half substitute as Boston United were knocked out of the Emirates FA Cup by Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

The forward came close to reducing the deficit in the 65th minute, but his effort was denied by Maison Campbell.

Oser Okpiabhele and Zach Sclare both started for Fakenham Town as the Ghosts were beaten 2-0 by Newmarket Town.

Jakov Medić and Miles Bracking were not involved for Utrecht and Hornchurch respectively, while Liam Gibbs has been ruled out for the next few months while on loan at Preston North End.

Everyone at Norwich City wishes Liam all the best in his recovery.
