Connections
Former Norwich City captain Grant Hanley has played for both the Canaries and the Blues.
The Scottish international appeared 197 times in all competitions for the Yellows.
Hanley was appointed club captain at the start of the 2018/19 season and went on to lift two Sky Bet Championship titles with the Norwich City.
After eight years of representing the Canaries, Hanley departed Carrow Road and headed to St Andrews on a short-term contract in January 2025.
He featured in 14 league games for Birmingham and was part of the team’s League One promotion success back to the Championship.
John Ruddy also played for both Norwich and Birmingham, joining the Canaries in 2010 and made 121 appearances for the Canaries.
