Norwich City are back in action this weekend to host Bolton Wanderers in a Sky Bet Championship clash at Carrow Road on Sunday (KO 1.30pm).
Philippe Clement's side will be looking to bounce back from Thursday evening's defeat to Manchester City after the Premier League side knocked the Canaries out of the Carabao Cup.
City's last league outing ended in a narrow defeat to Middlesbrough on the road, when, despite a spirited second half that brought Norwich back on level terms, a late goal from Ashley Phillips sealed all three points for the home side.
The Opposition
Steven Schumacher and his side arrive to Carrow Road just two points behind the Canaries in 20th.
With no Carabao Cup action this week for Wanderers after being knocked out in the first round by Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton's last outing saw them pick up three points against Cardiff City at home.
Thierry Gale was the hero of the hour with a 90th-minute winner to leapfrog the visitors in the table.
The week before, they pushed West Ham all the way in a narrow 3-2 defeat at the Toughsheet Stadium, as Jarrod Bowen was on target twice to seal the win with ten minutes to play.
The Trotters' last away trip ended in a 4-0 defeat at The Den against Millwall.
Previous Encounters
Norwich City have won six of their last eight league meetings with Bolton Wanderers, the last encounter coming in February of 2019.
Daniel Farke's side cruised to a 4-0 victory on the road in just one of the Canaries' many impressive performances during their promotion campaign of the 2018/19 season.
Marco Stiepermann set Teemu Pukki up for the opener and the Finnish striker returned the favour to the German 20 minutes later for Norwich's second.
Emi Buendía was on target next thanks to a ball through from Kenny McLean and Pukki sealed the win with his second in the 56th minute.
Had it not been for former Canary Remi Matthews in between the sticks for Wanderers, it could have been five for City, as he denied McLean from the spot with an hour played.
