Norwich City extended their winning streak to four games with an emphatic 5-0 away win against Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
Paris Maghoma scored in his fourth goal in four consecutive games to give the Canaries the advantage going into half time.
A second half blitz saw Harry Darling, Andre Brooks, Jovon Makama and Mathias Kvistgaarden all on target as Clement’s side blew away the hosts.
The Canaries travelled to the West Country following three back-to-back wins, making one change to the starting XI from the win at Derby County, as Ben Chrisene replaced Darlin Yongwa.
The hosts created the first chance of the afternoon as Rio Cardines delivered a corner into the box, where Lisav Eissat rose highest but headed wide.
George Tanner then tried his luck from outside the area, firing over the crossbar.
Daniel Grimshaw was called into action in the 17th minute, getting down to comfortably gather Scott Twine’s effort.
It was Norwich, however, who took the lead in the 22nd minute.
Captain Sam Field made an excellent interception before finding Paris Maghoma. The midfielder danced towards the penalty area before superbly curling low into the far corner to give the Canaries the advantage.
Grimshaw then produced a superb point blank save on the line to deny Twine, reacting quickly to keep the Canaries in front.
With six minutes remaining before the break, Anthony Musaba met Jacob Wright’s free-kick but dragged his shot narrowly wide.
The Canaries approached the second half with much more purpose in their attacking play. Five minutes into the second half, Jacob Wright fired just wide of the left post from the edge of the penalty area.
On 53 minutes, the lead was doubled when Darling reacted to a loose ball in the penalty area, looping a header over the stranded Bristol City goalkeeper.
Moments later, City had the ball in the back of the home side’s net again, much to the dismay of the majority inside Ashton Gate.
Maghoma assumed possession in the left channel andslalomed his way to the byline, beating his marker, before pulling the ball back into the danger zone. The ball was only half-cleared, with Brooks alive and alert to fire a low right-footed effort into the bottom corner.
Clement’s side were really in the groove and the one-way traffic continued.
Wright and Anthony Musaba both flashed efforts narrowly wide of the target, but a fourth goal did arrive on 71 minutes.
Substitute Jovon Makama found himself with space and time to fire home unmarked at the back post following Musaba’s clever cross on the slide.
Kvistgaarden then beat his man, only to be held down in the box, resulting in a penalty for the visitors.
Mathias Kvistgaarden stepped up to the spot and powered the ball down into the centre of the net to make it five for City.
