It was an impressive night under the lights at Pride Park for the Canaries as they produced their third consecutive win after securing a 4-0 victory at Pride Park.

Norwich took a two-goal lead inside the opening 27 minutes through Anthony Musaba and Paris Maghoma.

Darlin Yongwa found his first goal in yellow minutes before half-time, with a superb strike in the second half from Jovon Makama to secure three points on the road.

Philippe Clement made two changes to the starting XI from Saturday’s 3-2 win against Watford. Harry Darling and Darlin Yongwa came in place of Ben Chrisene and José Córdoba.

The Canaries started on the front foot, with Musaba opening the scoring after just eight minutes. Jack Stacey delivered a looping ball into box, where Darlin Yongwa's header was blocked by the Derby defence. Musaba reacted quickest to the loose ball, firing past Jacob Zetterström to give City an early advantage.

Musaba almost doubled Norwich's lead just a minute later. After Derby lost possession, Andre Brooks capitalised and delivered a cross towards the winger on the left. Musaba took a shot at goal, but Zetterström got his body behind the effort to keep the deficit to one.

City continued to threaten as they looked to extend their advantage. In the 26th minute, a scramble inside the box saw several of the Ram’s defenders around on the ball before it broke to Mathias Kvistgaarden. With his back to goal, the Dane took a backheel shot towards the net, but his effort was blocked.

However, Norwich's pressure soon paid off. A minute later, Maghoma doubled the Canaries advantage with an excellent effort outside the box. The midfielder moved the ball from left to right on the edge of the box, deceiving the Derby defence before powering a curling effort into the bottom-left corner to score his third goal in three games.

Maghoma then found Stacey on the left side of the box. The defender sent the ball towards the far post, with the delivery narrowly missing the goal line.

Brooks also came close to adding a third after combining with Musaba, but his effort was sent over the crossbar.

As the first half approached its closing stages, Norwich continued to threaten Derby.

In the 44th minute, Kvistgaarden won a header which fell into Brooks' path. The winger drove forward down the right flank and into the penalty area before a deflection saw the ball fall to Yongwa. The defender smashed the ball into the right-hand side of the net to put Norwich three goals ahead just before the break.

Norwich headed into half-time in control after a dominant first-half display at Pride Park.

The Canaries were left unchanged going into the second half with the Rams making a triple-substitution.

Daniel Grimshaw faced his first proper challenge of the evening in the 54th minute. Former Norwich City Academy Scholar Carlton Morris rose to meet the ball in the box firing a header towards goal, but Grimshaw was quick to dive and save the shot.

61st minute substitute Jovon Makama produced a rocket of a shot to put the visitors four goals to nil.

From outside the box Makama fired a shot goalwards, his effort smashed off the underside of the crossbar and into the net.
