Norwich City Football Club has been awarded the Silver Payroll Giving Quality Mark (PGQM), recognising the club's commitment to charitable giving through payroll donations and the generosity of players and footballing staff who support the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation.
The PGQM is a government-backed accreditation that recognises UK organisations that actively promote payroll giving, making it easy for employees to donate directly from their salary to charitable causes.
The award acknowledges the ongoing support of members of Norwich City's footballing department, including players and coaching staff, who make regular donations to the Community Sports Foundation through payroll giving. Their contributions help provide a reliable source of funding for the Foundation's work across Norfolk, supporting programmes that improve the lives of thousands of people each year.
Among those supporting the initiative are Sporting Director, Ben Knapper, and First Team head coach, Philippe Clement.
The achievement highlights the important role Norwich City's players and footballing staff play in supporting the Community Sports Foundation. Their generosity helps fund programmes focused on disability sport, mental health, education, employability and community inclusion across Norfolk.
