Norwich City make the trip to Switzerland this weekend to face Swiss Super League side St Gallen.
The match will take place at Kybunpark on Friday, July 17 in a 7pm kick-off (UK time).
The Canaries have had a steady start to pre-season, picking up a 1-0 win against King's Lynn Town as well as being held to a 0-0 draw against Colchester United.
The Opposition
Founded in 1879, the Swiss giants claim the title of oldest football club still in existence in both Switzerland and mainland Europe.
Enrico Maaßen's side enjoyed a successful 2025/26 season with silverware, taking home the Swiss Cup and earning a spot in the UEFA Europa League qualifying rounds.
They finished their league campaign in second place, only narrowly missing out on the Swiss Super League title by one place and five points.
The eventual champions, Thun, produced one of the biggest surprises in Swiss football history, having been promoted in only the previous season and securing the first Swiss league title in the club's 128-year history.
St Gallen's first-choice goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi featured in the first of Ghana's 2026 World Cup fixtures, keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win against Panama.
After picking up a groin injury in that tie, his tournament was cut short for the Black Stars.
Friday evening's test will be the final pre-season tie for the Swiss side, as they begin their 2026/27 campaign against Zürich next weekend.
